Job Description The UX Designer will be responsible for prototyping and building visually compelling user interfaces for the various digital services we offer. The UX Designer will also be expected to assist in developing the overall functionality of our products. To ensure a great user experience the UX Designer must iterate design and solutions in accordance with user-testing. This is a mid-level, remote position. Essential Functions: Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiencesFacilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing for digital productsDesign and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesIdentify design problems and devise solutionsMake strategic design and user-experience decisions related to product functions and featuresUse UX Development best practices to design solutionsTake a user-centered design approach to rapidly test and iterate designsWork with stakeholders in order to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and visionCollaborate closely with other team members and stakeholdersCommunicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clientsChampion new ideas and offer innovative solutions through exceptional product design Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor’s DegreePortfolio of work showcasing web application designs from concept to productionA minimum of three years work experience in Web Design or Front End DevelopmentKnowledge of mobile-first and responsive designStrong written and verbal communicationsUnderstanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking Preferred Skills/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or equivalentExpertise in industry standard UX software, Adobe XD experience and PhotoshopIntermediate HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to collaborate and communicate closely with teams and stakeholdersOpen to receiving constructive criticism and feedbackPassion for all things UXExceptional design skillsStrong knowledge of design theoryGreat communication and presentation skills   #LI-Remote     This position is open to US residents only.   The targeted salary range for this position is $69,800 - $102,600. The posted salary range for this position may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; internal pay equity; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
