Your Role in Our Space Mission:
As a local HSE Specialist at Isar Aerospace, you play a central role in ensuring our workplace remains safe, healthy, and compliant. You will actively implement HSE policies, engage teams in safety initiatives, and drive continuous improvement to support our operational excellence and sustainability goals.
Lead the implementation and monitoring of compliance with all local HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards
Conduct and oversee regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Develop, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive HSE training and awareness programs for all staff
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and environmental risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed and promote a proactive safety culture
Ensure the maintenance of accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation
Lead and coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities on site
Drive and manage continuous improvement initiatives in safety and environmental performance
Qualification Checklist
Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) roles, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace environments
Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
Experience conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations
Proficiency in preparing HSE documentation and reports
Excellent communication and training skills, able to engage diverse teams
Strong problem-solving mindset, with proactive and collaborative working style
Fluency English, both written and spoken
Substantial Norwegian language skills
Bonus Skills
Experience in aerospace, high-tech, or start-up environment
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or other HSE management systems
