About this role
Mission Brief
As part of the Guidance, Navigation, & Control team, you will support the technical development of the autopilot of the launch vehicle. You will be responsible for developing the GNC flight algorithms and the necessary verification environments following a model-based design approach.
Your Role in Our Space Mission
Perform the GNC algorithm selection, design, tuning and implementation
Model required fluids systems to expand the 6-DoF verification capabilities
Maintain and further develop hydraulic actuator models
Maintain and further develop control algorithms and filters for relevant fluid systems
Support development of launch and test campaign GNC operations
Be able to perform, setup and analyze Monte Carlo simulations
Qualification Checklist
At least 1 year of experience in mathematical modelling, development and validation of algorithms throughout the disciplines of Guidance, Navigation and Control.
Strong background in mathematical modelling and data analysis in MATLAB and all relevant Tools (Simulink, Stateflow, parallelization, autocoding etc.)
Proficient in data analysis in frequency and time domain with Python
Basic knowledge in rigid body and Orbit mechanics
Proficient in modelling and control of fluid systems (hydraulic actuators, valves, pressurized tanks)
Experience in C/C++ flight software development
Experience with large software projects in GIT
