Test Bench Technician - Vibration and Shock Testing Operations (m/f/d)

Mission Brief  Your Role in Our Space Mission: As our Test Bench Mechanic, your primary objective will be to support Test and Propulsion engineers in executing test campaigns on flight components and subsystems.   Run Test sequences on our Shock and Shaker Table. We expect a high level of autonomous working in setting up test configurations according to given requirements. Careful adjustments of current setups, if needed.  Assessment of test results in terms of plausibility and repeatability.  Data preparation of the Test results before hand them over to client Support components test campaigns by preparing test articles and the test facility in collaboration with test and propulsion engineers  Maintain, modify, and design high-pressure (up to 300 bar) and cryogenic (down to -196°C) piping systems  Document all work carried out on test articles with proper documentation and traceability procedures  Keep the workshop up to date with necessary tooling and ensure machines remain functional through regular servicing  Maintain order in the workshop and storage areas     Qualification Checklist  Successful completion of an apprenticeship or technician program as a Mechanic, with experience in the production or maintenance of aircraft, motor vehicles, or other relevant fields  Proven experience working on components, including Flight hardware, fluid systems, cryogenic systems, fuel systems, or electro-mechanical systems  Proven experience working with Shaking and Shock-  testequipment Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in mechanical issues, and developing complex systems with guidance from engineering teams  Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and high-pressure fluid systems  Proficient in the use of high-pressure piping Systems Such as “Swagelok” fittings and flange connections   Solid understanding of part traceability, tagging, and proper documentation procedures   Clean Room practices and maintain safe workshop habits, including tool control  Ability to read and interpret working drawings, engineering documents, and maintenance manuals  Enthusiastic about developing, testing, and maintaining state-of-the-art hardware and rocket engines, with a keen interest in learning about modifying and repairing a rigorously operated test facility  Demonstrates personal accountability and motivation to pursue projects that improve the test facility  Can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills  Strong sense of teamwork and a willingness to assist others, regardless of the specific area of expertise.  Fluent in English     Bonus Skills Proficient in the use of Swagelok fittings and flange connections  Experience as a Rigger or Operations Technician in a test facility  Background as a licensed Aircraft Mechanical or Structural Technician  Ability to read and interpret working drawings, engineering documents, and maintenance manuals  Familiarity with Clean Room environments or and inventory management   Benefits  Employee Participation Program: Share in our success through our virtual company share program 30 days of vacation: Enjoy the days off to relax and recharge Company pension plan: Secure your future with our company pension plan, featuring a 20% employer contribution after the probation period Subsidised lunch: Stay energised with delicious, subsidised lunches every day Public transport ticket: Commute with ease using a fully financed Deutschlandticket Rental clothing with laundry service: Enjoy hassle-free workwear with our convenient rental clothing and laundry service   Sport Clubs membership: Stay fit with our sponsored sports club memberships (EGYM Wellpass) Individual learning allowance: Grow your skills with an individual learning budget granted after the probation period Childcare allowance: Receive a childcare allowance for your non-school-age children And Much More!
