WHO WE ARE Odyssey https://odyssey.ml/ is an AI lab pioneering general-purpose world models: causal, multimodal systems that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons, while generating real-time, interactive simulations from any starting point. This foundational technology promises to revolutionize robotics, science, healthcare, education, gaming, defense, and beyond. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a senior recruiter to own hiring across a broad set of functional areas—including operations, commercial, product, design, go-to-market, people and finance. Nearly every role at Odyssey is unique and high-impact, so this feels more like executive recruiting than high-volume hiring. You’ll work closely with leadership to identify, attract, and close exceptional talent in a highly competitive market. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own the full recruiting lifecycle for operations, product, design, go-to-market, and finance roles. - Partner directly with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategy. - Source, engage, and close senior and executive-level candidates in a highly competitive talent market. - Develop creative outreach strategies to attract candidates who may not yet know Odyssey—we’re building employer brand awareness from the ground up. - Implement and refine structured, data-driven recruiting processes. - Leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing, outreach, and workflow efficiency. - Manage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring a high-touch, executive-level process for every hire. WHO YOU ARE - Senior-level recruiter with meaningful in-house experience. - Track record of filling a broad variety of role types across multiple functions. - Executive recruiting experience strongly preferred—comfort with high-touch, high-stakes searches. - Has worked in a quickly scaling recruiting organization. - Contributed to establishing key processes. - Delivered results in an organization with exceptionally high talent density. - Curious and quick to ramp on emerging technology—experience in robotics, AI, or DeepTech is ideal but not required. - You can pitch genuinely interesting, frontier technology to top talent. - Deep sourcing expertise. Develop sourcing and engagement strategies in highly competitive industry. - Structured thinker; analytical and data-oriented. - Relationship oriented when it matters most. - Exceptional listening skills with candidates and stakeholders. - Proven ability to use data to drive recruiting performance improvements, - Able to communicate effectively with logical, data-driven stakeholders (founders, engineers, researchers). - Experience implementing AI into your recruiting workflow.
