Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving the company’s global close and consolidation process while leading technical accounting under US GAAP. This position plays a critical role in supporting M&A activity, purchase price accounting, complex equity and debt structures, and the preparation of audited financial statements.
Partnering cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Corporate Development, and international subsidiaries, this individual ensures financial accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. The role requires both deep technical accounting expertise and hands-on consolidation experience.
This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to executive leadership, private equity sponsors, and external auditors, offering the opportunity to build scalable reporting infrastructure as the company grows organically and through acquisitions.
Responsibilities
Technical Accounting & M&A
Lead technical accounting analysis and documentation under US GAAP (ASC 805, 810, 830, 350, 718, 842, 480, etc.)Oversee accounting for business combinations and asset acquisitions, including purchase price accounting (PPA), valuation coordination, and integration into the general ledgerDraft technical accounting memos supporting complex transactions, debt and equity issuances, and non-routine mattersPartner with Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Development on transaction structuring and accounting implicationsSupport post-acquisition integration, including chart of accounts alignment and reporting standardization
Consolidation & Close
Lead the monthly global consolidation process in NetSuite, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation (CTA), equity method accounting, and multi-entity eliminationsReview consolidated financial statements and identify anomalies or misstatements prior to closeDrive continuous improvement of the close calendar and consolidation processesMaintain governance over chart of accounts and reporting structures across subsidiaries
External Reporting & Audit
Lead preparation of audited annual financial statements under US GAAPManage the external reporting process using DFIN or a comparable reporting toolCoordinate directly with external auditors and manage audit deliverablesSupport preparation of quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity stakeholdersMaintain documentation supporting key accounting judgments and estimates
Systems & Reporting Infrastructure
Serve as finance owner for NetSuite consolidation and reporting functionalityEnsure integrity of multi-entity and multi-currency reporting within NetSuitePartner with Finance Systems and Data teams to enhance reporting automation and accuracyImprove reporting workflows and documentation to support scalable growth

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required or strongly preferred7+ years of experience in technical accounting and financial reportingBig 4 public accounting experience strongly preferredExperience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments preferredDeep knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 805 (Business Combinations), ASC 810 (Consolidations), ASC 830 (Foreign Currency), and equity and debt accountingHands-on experience with NetSuite (multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations)Experience preparing audited financial statements using DFIN or comparable reporting softwareStrong Excel and financial analysis skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment

Pay Scale
$140,000 - $170,000 per yearThe final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
