Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado or Loveland, Ohio facility.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program Manager to drive EHS initiatives across our operations. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing the strategic EHS framework that mitigates risk to employees and the business, establishes regulatory excellence, and drives continuous improvement across all production sites. The responsibilities for this role include special focus on waste minimization, hazardous waste management, and byproduct value management. The ideal candidate will bring a knowledge of traditional and additive manufacturing environments, research and development, testing, laboratory, and/or start-up environments.
What You'll Do...
Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, training, and tools; and support the continuous improvement of the Beehive EHS Management System and strategySpearhead waste and byproduct management by focusing on waste minimization, byproduct value, and guidance for hazardous and regulated wastes for all Beehive locationsCollaborate across all Departments to identify new projects and innovations; assess risks and mitigation solutions and incorporate into EHS Management systemConduct and coordinate EHS audits, hazard assessments, and inspections at corporate and site levelsCreate and deliver EHS training programs for executive leadership, technicians, and engineering teams, including safety protocols for additive manufacturing, combustible dust, emergency response, powder handling, and chemical storageCollaborate with engineering, production, quality, and facilities teams to integrate EHS best practices into product and process developmentMonitor and analyze EHS metrics; report findings and make data-driven recommendations to leadershipChampion proactive safety initiatives such as hazard identification programs, safety observations, risk assessments, and employee engagement efforts to prevent injuries and improve overall site safety performanceBuild and support a strong safety culture through leadership to front line operatorsSupport investigations into the root cause of injuries, events, and near misses. Ensure appropriate actions are taken to correct and prevent recurrence of unsafe conditions and/or behaviors
You have...
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in EHS roles, with at least 3 years in a corporate or multi-site leadership position within a manufacturing settingExtensive knowledge of RCRA and waste regulations; experience with waste minimization and byproduct management a plusExperience with additive manufacturing, engine testing, or casting processes a plusProven experience with process and program managementDynamic and active communicator with strong collaboration skillsBroad knowledge of regulatory and consensus standards including OSHA, EPA, NFPA, UL; and the ability to research and translate to business impactTechnical document writing and ISO experience is a plusThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $130,000-$152,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
