Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Structure Tower Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and operational activities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with large assemblies. The Structure Tower Technician plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across production and maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair technical issues related to equipment, machinery, and systems
Read and interpret work instructions, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
Assemble and disassemble large-scale mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functionality and reliability
Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems
Document work performed, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions
Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Experience as a technician in a mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or equipment maintenance environment
Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
Experience working with bolted assemblies and fastening methods
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with crane operations and rigging
Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
Familiarity with standard tools, hardware, and fastening systems
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Technology Stack
Mechanical hand and power tools
Torque tools and fastening systems
Material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes)
Technical documentation systems and work instruction platforms
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
Ability to work in varying environments, including industrial settings
Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights as required
