Position Overview
We are seeking a Test Operator to support the execution of electrical and environmental tests on satellites and satellite subsystems. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a highly regulated, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute basic test procedures under direct supervision
Assist in setup and operation of standard test equipment
Record and report test data accurately
Support basic troubleshooting under guidance
Follow ESD, cleanroom, and safety protocols at all times
Maintain cleanliness of test areas and equipment
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
A minimum of 0–1 year of relevant experience or recent technical/vocational training
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of electronics or test equipment
Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and safety protocols
Prior experience in a manufacturing or testing environment
Experience conducting and monitoring vibration testing on satellite components and assemblies to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and accurately simulate launch conditions
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Comfortable working in a structured and regulated environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting
Technology Stack
Standard electrical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Data recording and reporting tools
ESD-safe handling tools and procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a standard office and cleanroom environment
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods during testing procedures
Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools
