What You’ll Do In this role, you will be responsible for: Supervise daily settlement operations and manage team workloadsEnsure settlement packets, disbursements, liens, and closing statements are accurate and timelyMonitor case progression from resolution through final payoutEnforce compliance with firm policies, regulatory standards, and ethical requirementsServe as escalation point for complex settlement issuesCoach, train, and develop settlement staff through performance management and mentoringTrack KPIs and productivity metrics; report trends and improvement opportunities to leadershipPartner with attorneys, finance, and leadership to optimize settlement processesMaintain quality assurance standards and conduct regular audits of filesAssist with staffing, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviewsIdentifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes, not just following existing playbooks At TopDog Law, everyone is expected to think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their work. How This Role Drives the Business The Settlement Supervisor oversees the settlement team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of case settlements. This role is responsible for workflow management, quality control, team development, and collaboration with attorneys, finance, and operations to maximize client satisfaction and firm profitability.
