What You’ll Do In this role, you will be responsible for: Pod Leadership: In this role you will function as the market/pod lead for the state of Pennsylvania and be responsible for developing and managing your team of attorneys and paralegalsCase Evaluation: Review and assess the merits of clients’ Personal Injury claims by analyzing records, documents, and evidence to determine validity and potential value Legal Representation: Represent clients in Personal Injury matters, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. Prepare and file claims, petitions, and other legal documents, and advocate for clients before courts and agenciesLegal Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to protect clients’ rights and interests. Conduct legal research, analyze medical records, gather evidence, and negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable settlementsClient Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates, explaining legal processes, and advising them on their rights and optionsMedical and Vocational Assessment: Collaborate with medical and vocational experts to evaluate the extent of injuries, their impact on clients’ ability to work, and appropriate compensation levelsLitigation: Handle disputed or denied claims through litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacyCase Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, coordinate with medical providers and experts, and oversee related legal and administrative tasksEthical Standards: Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable rules and regulationsContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes—not just following existing playbooks At TopDog Law, everyone is expected to think critically, communicate clearly, and take ownership of their work. What Success Looks Like Within your first 6–12 months, success in this role looks like: You lead a high-performing litigation team that moves cases efficiently, maximizes case value, and delivers consistent results across the marketYou serve as a trusted mentor and coach, developing junior attorneys through real-time feedback, case strategy guidance, and elevated standardsYou establish clear expectations, accountability, and communication rhythms, eliminating surprises and bottlenecksYou partner effectively with leadership and operations to scale litigation processes without sacrificing quality or judgmentYou are recognized internally and externally as a credible, prepared, and decisive market leader who elevates both people and performance Qualifications Required: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the Pennsylvania Bar5 - 10 years of experience in Personal Injury lawSeveral years of experience as a Pod or state specific Managing AttorneyStrong communication, negotiation, research, and writing skillsAbility to manage a robust case load independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Georgia laws, regulations, and procedures requiredMust be located in or near the State of PennsylvaniaStrong communication skills—written and verbalAbility to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed Nice to Have: Active Admission to one or more districts of the Pennsylvania Federal CourtExperience in a fast-growing or high-volume environmentComfort with ambiguity and evolving systemsExperience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations About TopDog Law TopDog Law is a nationally scaling, fully integrated, personal injury law firm with strong partner relationships across the country.
