About the role
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding Rippling’s Benefits Marketplace and carrier integration program. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Benefits Operations, and external carriers, you’ll drive integrations end-to-end—ensuring clean launches, scalable processes, and a high-quality client experience. You’ll also build reporting and readiness frameworks, manage escalations with urgency, and help define the operating model for a fast-growing program. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings deep experience with benefits integrations (EDI/API, carrier connectivity), and takes strong ownership of operational excellence.
What you will do
Integration Program Management
Own end-to-end delivery of carrier integrations across the Benefits MarketplaceCoordinate across Product, Engineering, Benefits Ops, and external partnersDefine workstreams, dependencies, milestones, and ownershipBuild and refine SOPs, workflows, and best practices
Launch Readiness
Define and run go/no-go criteria and readiness reviewsAlign cross-functional teams ahead of launchesIdentify root causes of launch issues and implement improvements
Carrier & Partner Management
Serve as primary internal point of contact for carrier integrationsManage timelines, resolve operational issues, and support partnersOversee integrations from kickoff through stabilization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with BD, Product, Engineering, Ops, and Support teamsLead regular stakeholder cadences and drive decisions forward
Metrics & Reporting
Build dashboards to track integration health and launch readinessProvide visibility into program status and post-launch performanceIdentify trends and escalate systemic issues
What you will need
5+ years in benefits, carrier operations, or program/ops managementExperience with EDI, carrier integrations, or enrollment systems preferredStrong understanding of real-world integration challenges
Familiarity with EDI, APIs, data mapping, and eligibility workflowsAbility to identify operational risks (no coding required)Experience with EDI 834 is a plus
Strong analytical thinking and structured approachAdvanced spreadsheet skills required; SQL is a plus
Highly organized with strong prioritization skillsExperience managing multiple programs simultaneously
Comfortable working cross-functionally and across time zonesProven ability to manage internal and external partners effectively
