About DESRI DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 11.9 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 80 renewable energy projects in 24 states. DESRI is run by a dynamic team with offices located at New York, Denver, and Hyderabad (India). What you'll do Own the end-to-end information management lifecycle for project and financing data, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and audit readiness across systems.Support critical transactions (acquisitions, refinancings, corporate financings) by managing data workflows, tracking progress, and proactively driving closure of open items with internal and external stakeholders Interpret and validate key commercial and financial terms from agreements (e.g., debt documents, swaps, contracts), ensuring completeness and consistency of underlying data Oversee and continuously improve centralized data repositories, including data structures, governance standards, and version control practices Partner with Treasury, Asset Management, and accounting teams to maintain high-quality datasets (e.g., debt, hedging, contractual obligations) and resolve discrepancies or data gaps  Manage and enhance investor reporting processes and platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective exception handling Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort by leveraging automation, AI tools, and scalable data solutionsContribute to the development of data architecture, reporting frameworks, and best practices to improve usability and decision-making across teams Qualifications A bachelor’s/master’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience in information management, financial data management, or contracts managementAbility to interpret agreements and financial documents, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and applying judgment beyond first-pass data extractionProficiency in Excel and comfort working with structured datasets; ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile dataStrong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global teamsExposure to automation, data tools, or AI-enabled workflows (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar), with the ability to improve processes and reduce manual effort preferred Locations: Hyderabad, India
