This role is critical in establishing a high-performing, scalable operation built on safety, quality, delivery, and cost excellence. The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving day-to-day manufacturing performance while building the systems, structure, and team capability required for long-term growth. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational discipline, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution aligned with Nomaco’s Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)Establish standard work, accountability, and execution discipline across all shiftsDrive production performance to meet customer demand and business objectivesServe as the operational leader responsible for delivering results aligned with company priorities and the V/TO Planning, Execution & Accountability (EOS) Own production planning, scheduling, and forecasting processesTranslate company priorities into clear operational execution plansLead and execute Rocks (90-day priorities) for the operations functionUtilize Scorecards to monitor key performance metrics and proactively address gapsDrive issue resolution using structured problem-solving and accountability practices Inventory & Material Flow Drive inventory accuracy, material control, and warehouse disciplineOptimize material flow from receiving through production to shippingPartner with Supply Chain to ensure continuity of supply and efficient logistics Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Engineering on process development, equipment readiness, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with Quality to ensure product consistency and complianceAlign with Supply Chain and Logistics to support on-time delivery and customer satisfactionFoster cross-functional clarity and accountability across departments Performance Management & Continuous Improvement Establish and manage KPIs across operations (SQDC, OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, etc.)Lead daily and weekly operating rhythms, including Level 10 (L10) meetings, to drive alignment and tractionLeverage data and visual management to drive decision-making and accountabilityEmbed and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies People Leadership & Development Build, develop, and mentor front-line leaders and production teamsCreate clarity in roles, responsibilities, and expectations using EOS accountability principlesFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and engagementStrengthen communication, consistency, and execution across all shifts Education/Training Requirements: Qualifications & Experience 7+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experienceProven track record of improving production performance and operational stabilityStrong experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity managementHands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement toolsExperience in a startup or expansion environment preferredDemonstrated ability to implement structured operating systems (EOS experience a plus)Experience partnering effectively with Engineering and cross-functional teams Leadership Profile Calm, steady, and composed under pressureData-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStructured thinker who brings clarity and organization to complex environmentsHands-on leader who is visible and engaged on the shop floorHigh integrity with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityDirect, respectful communicator who builds trust and alignment Physical Demands: Frequent walking, standing, and observation in a manufacturing environmentOccasional lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to access production areas and wear required PPE Work Environment: Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and industrial conditionsRegular interaction with production and operations personnel Locations: Mesa, AZ
