As a People Technology Program Specialist, you will lead the evolution of our HR ecosystem by designing complex Workday integrations and building custom applications via Workday Extend to solve unique business challenges. You will play a critical role in SentinelOne’s digital transformation by leveraging Workday Prism Analytics for advanced data modeling and implementing AI/ML concepts to automate routine HR tasks and enhance predictive analytics. By bridging the gap between HR strategy and technical execution, you will architect a seamless, scalable, and data-driven employee experience.
What You Will Do:
Provide technical and functional expertise on Workday Systems
Ensure systems are accurately configured to meet business requirements through routine data audits and validation
Workday Integrations: Design, develop, test, and deploy complex integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs. This includes building both inbound and outbound integrations for various functional areas (e.g., benefits, payroll, financial systems).
Workday Extend Apps: Lead the design and development of custom applications using Workday Extend to address unique business needs and enhance the user experience beyond standard Workday functionality.
Data Transformation: Play a key role in data modeling, transformation, and reporting, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Workday Prism Analytics for advanced data aggregation and visualization to drive business decisions.
Explore and implement AI/ML concepts to automate routine HR tasks, improve data quality, and enhance predictive analytics within the HRIS environment.
Develop and maintain complex custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards in Workday using calculated fields and advanced reporting features to meet the needs of HR, Finance, and leadership.
Ensure data integrity and privacy across all HR systems. Manage and maintain Workday security fundamentals, including role-based and domain-based security, security group configuration, and access control.
Maintain documentation for all configurations, integrations, and reports, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and data governance policies.
Partner with functional People Teams to analyze existing core HCM business processes (e.g., Hire to Retire, Onboarding, Change Jobs, Compensation Cycle) and implement improvements within Workday.
Provide expert-level support, configuration, and troubleshooting for the following Workday modules: Core HCM, Benefits and Compensation, Time Tracking and Absence Management, Performance Management and Talent Management
What Skills and Knowledge You Should Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or other closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred
5-7 years HRIS experience required and 4+ years’ experience configuring and supporting systems, i.e., Workday, with system implementation experience required
Workday experience required
Hands-on expertise in configuring, integrating, and maintaining Workday HCM.
Proven experience in building and deploying integrations using Workday Studio and other Workday integration tools.
Demonstrable experience with Workday Extend and/or complex custom application development within an HRIS environment.
Demonstrable experience in advanced reporting, specifically with Workday Prism Analytics transformation, development, and deployment.
Knowledge of Workday security fundamentals and the configuration of various security groups and policies.
Comprehensive functional knowledge across all major Workday modules: Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Performance, Talent, and AI/ML.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Excellent project planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
