We’re growing fast and want you to be a part of it! We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Administrative Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Administrative Assistant Team Lead, this role provides advanced administrative and clerical support to Agents, Account Managers, Brokers, and departmental operations. This position goes beyond routine administrative tasks by leveraging industry knowledge and experience to guide peers, support training initiatives, participate in special projects, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance licenseManage Assistant and group email inboxes promptly and accurately, ensuring timely responses and proper task routingProvide phone coverage and frontline communication support for the organizationPrepare and distribute quotes, finance agreements, ACORD applications, bind requests, invoices, and state affidavitsConduct policy checks, renewal notifications, and request loss runsEnsure proper documentation is prepared, received, reviewed, and submitted accurately and in compliance with surplus lines requirementsDocument and maintain transparency of all transactions within AMS and other company systemsAssist in internal and external surplus lines audits by verifying transactions, documentation, and regulatory complianceApply strong working knowledge of insurance administrative processes and AMS operations to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiencyIdentify, own, and resolve administrative or documentation issues proactively, escalating appropriately when necessaryManage evolving priorities and shifting deadlines independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and responsivenessSupport onboarding, training, and mentorship of new or junior administrative team members as neededUtilize AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow organization where appropriateSupport Sales teams with service-related items and administrative needsProvide backup support for administrative duties, including mail handling and general office coordinationHandle sensitive client and financial information with discretion, professionalism, and strict confidentialityContribute to process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects as assignedMaintain regular and timely attendanceRequired to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma required2+ years of experience in the surplus lines industry OR valid P&C license plus 12+ months of CSR or administrative support experienceExperience in administration or accounting preferredExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related systems preferredStrong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal directionExcellent written and verbal communication skills, professional and concise in client and internal interactionsStrong problem-solving skills with a resourceful and solution-focused mindsetProficiency in document management systems, email platforms, and core business applicationsDependable, accountable, and consistent in task execution Perks Health, dental, and vision plansAmazing work-life balance with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off10 Paid Company Holidays with 2 floating holidays401K Programs with employer matchPersonal assistance programs for support in a healthy personal and work life Why Veracity?
