About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to help ensure the reliability, correctness, and scalability of the systems behind our platform. Depending on the team, this may include AI-powered services, onboarding and activation flows, payments and external integrations, CRM and workflow systems, or secure document and client collaboration tools.
In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to test complex workflows, validate data integrity, and improve quality across the software development lifecycle. You’ll also help shape test strategy, mentor other engineers, and raise the bar for quality across the organization.

What you'll do:
Champion Product Quality
Advocate for the customer experience throughout the development lifecycle
Design comprehensive test strategies for complex product features and platform services
Identify risks early and raise quality concerns before issues reach production
Write and maintain high-quality test cases covering real-world usage scenarios
Perform root cause analysis and clearly communicate the impact of defects
Test Complex Systems
Validate APIs, integrations, and distributed services
Test data pipelines, system workflows, and multi-step product flows
Ensure correctness of integrations with third-party systems and internal services
Validate data integrity across relational systems and application workflows
Test security-sensitive functionality such as permissions, access control, and document sharing
Evaluate system performance, reliability, and edge-case behavior
Drive Quality Improvements
Help define and improve quality engineering standards and processes
Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to identify high-value automation opportunities
Contribute to test automation strategies across smoke, regression, and release validation
Track and report on quality metrics and help reduce production defects
Provide Technical Leadership
Mentor and support junior quality engineers
Participate in design discussions to improve testability and reliability
Serve as a subject matter expert in quality practices for complex SaaS systems
Contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering organization
About you:
3–7 years of experience in software quality engineering
Experience testing complex SaaS applications or distributed systems
Strong experience with API testing (REST, webhooks, or similar)
Strong SQL skills for validating data and system state
Experience testing integrations, workflows, or data pipelines
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or similar)
Proficiency with Linux and command-line tools for debugging and log analysis
Familiarity with Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages
Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Qase, or similar)
Experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
Experience testing AI or machine learning systems
Experience testing payment platforms or financial integrations
Experience with CRM or workflow-driven SaaS applications
Experience with microservices architectures
Familiarity with containerization or Kubernetes
Experience testing systems that handle sensitive or regulated data
Experience working with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, etc.)
