The Workplace Experience Manager creates and runs a workplace environment that enables employees to do their best work safely, efficiently, and with a strong sense of belonging. As part of the broader People Operations function, this role connects the physical workplace with the employee lifecycle. It ensures that the office experience, onsite moments, workplace processes, employee support, and compliance-related coordination are aligned with how we want people to experience the company. This role is not only about keeping the office running. It is about making the workplace a reliable, welcoming, and scalable part of the employee experience. What You'll Do: Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Workplace Experience plays a key role in making onboarding feel smooth, prepared, and human. - Preparing desks, access, welcome materials, and onsite logistics for new joiners - Partnering with People Ops and IT on onboarding readiness - Supporting first-day and first-week experiences - Ensuring new employees know how the office works - Feeding back recurring onboarding friction into process improvements Success looks like: New joiners arrive to an office experience that feels intentional, prepared, and welcoming. Employee Experience and Engagement The workplace is one of the most visible expressions of company culture. Workplace Experience supports People Ops by translating culture into daily employee touchpoints. - Creating office rituals, moments of connection, and team touchpoints - Supporting onsite events, all-hands, leadership visits, and team gatherings - Collecting employee feedback on office experience - Identifying recurring pain points that impact morale, productivity, or belonging - Helping People Ops understand what employees need in their day-to-day environment Success looks like: Employees experience the office as a place that supports focus, collaboration, connection, and belonging. Operational Excellence and Scalable Processes Workplace Experience strengthens People Ops by bringing structure to recurring workplace needs. - Documenting office processes and guidelines - Managing workplace requests through clear channels - Creating repeatable workflows for visitors, events, access, seating, supplies, and office support - Coordinating with People Ops on employee-facing processes - Reducing ad hoc requests by making workplace information easy to find Success looks like: Workplace processes are clear, consistent, and scalable as the company grows. Compliance, Health, Safety, and Risk Coordination This role supports People Ops in ensuring the workplace is safe, compliant, and responsibly managed. - Coordinating first aid, fire safety, ergonomic support, workplace safety checks, and risk assessments - Maintaining workplace-related documentation - Supporting occupational safety activities in partnership with external experts - Escalating workplace risks early - Helping ensure office practices align with legal, People, IT, and security expectations Success looks like: People Ops has reliable visibility into workplace-related risks and compliance activities. Cross-functional Employee Support Many employee questions sit between People, IT, Finance, Legal, and Office Management. Workplace Experience helps connect the dots. - Partnering with IT on access, equipment handover, meeting room setup, and employee moves - Partnering with Finance on workplace budgets, invoices, and vendor costs - Partnering with Legal or external advisors on contracts, landlord topics, and compliance documentation - Partnering with People Ops on employee needs, internal communication, and process clarity Success looks like: Employees do not feel the seams between functions. They know where to go, and issues are resolved with clear ownership.
