We're building out the founding go-to-market team for our accountant channel and are seeking a Founding Account Executive to own the full sales cycle with accounting firms and help build a repeatable partner acquisition motion.
You will
Become a product expert and run discovery, demos and close with accounting firm owners and partnersSource and qualify accounting firms through outbound prospecting, conferences, referrals and inbound leadsWork with the CEO and Head of Growth to define and build a repeatable Accountant acquisition playbookTrack and optimize key metrics like conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline growthManage the pre-sale Accountant lifecycle from first call to signed Accountant to successful onboarding handoffBe the voice of the accountant and advocate with the Product team
We're looking for someone who
Proven 3-5+ years track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota targetsSaaS and startup experience; you take ownership and are comfortable working and adapting in a fast-paced and flexible environmentExperience in full-cycle sales; bonus if you have previous experience working with accounting firmsExtraordinary written and verbal communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills
Bonus if
Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial servicesAdvanced technical qualifications or experience (e.g. CPA, EA, Tax LLM)Experience with partner or channel sales motions
