Position Summary / Role As a Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator, you’ll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team—owning requirements gathering, process analysis, and platform configuration. Built on Health Cloud and B2B Commerce, our platform supports clinic onboarding, product ordering, fulfillment, and payment processing across multiple user personas. You’ll partner closely with the Engineering Manager to translate business needs into actionable work—writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, mapping current and future-state processes, and determining whether solutions are best delivered through declarative configuration or custom development. When work requires Apex or custom development, you’ll collaborate with the Engineering Manager to scope, prioritize, and validate the work through the team’s sprint cycles. You’ll also own the day-to-day administration of the org, build out reporting and dashboards to give leadership visibility into key metrics, and support our customer-facing teams with escalations and system questions as we scale. Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and refine business requirements through stakeholder interviews, process mapping, and workshop sessionsAnalyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or simplificationWrite clear user stories and acceptance criteria that the development team can estimate and deliver within sprint cyclesCreate process flow diagrams, data models, and functional specifications for complex initiativesEvaluate business requests and recommend the best path to delivery—declarative configuration vs. custom developmentConduct gap analysis between business needs and current platform capabilitiesDefine success metrics and KPIs for new features and process changesAdminister and configure the Salesforce platform including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rulesManage user accounts, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules across a complex security modelBuild, maintain, and optimize Salesforce Flows to support evolving business processesAdminister Experience Cloud portals including user access, navigation, and contentManage B2B Commerce configuration—product catalog, pricing tiers, cart limits, and storefront settingsOversee clinic intake and approval process workflowsHandle data quality initiatives including deduplication, bulk imports, and data cleanupBuild and maintain reports and dashboards to give leadership visibility into sales performance, lead conversion, order volume, and clinic onboarding metricsAnalyze platform data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvementDeliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholdersPartner with the Engineering Manager to triage incoming business requests and prioritize platform work alongside feature development in release planningParticipate in sprint ceremonies—bringing business context to standups, planning, and demosLead UAT efforts for both declarative changes you’ve built and custom features delivered by developersCollaborate on release testing and validation before deployments reach productionServe as the escalation point for the support team on Salesforce-related issuesDocument processes, configurations, and system changesTrain internal teams on Salesforce features and new functionality Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, or combined BA/Admin roleProven experience gathering and documenting business requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteriaStrong proficiency with process mapping and workflow analysisExperience with Flow Builder, including screen flows and record-triggered flowsExperience with permission sets, profiles, roles, and sharing rules in a complex security modelExperience building reports, dashboards, and custom report typesFamiliarity with Experience Cloud / Communities administrationUnderstanding of Salesforce data model and relationships (lookups, master-detail, junction objects)Experience with data management—imports, exports, deduplication, and bulk updatesExperience working within agile teams and participating in sprint ceremoniesStrong communication skills—you’ll work across dev, support, sales, and leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Health CloudExperience with B2B Commerce (product catalog, pricing, order management)Familiarity with approval processes and complex workflow automationExperience supporting healthcare or pharmaceutical industry platformsExposure to integrated systems (payment gateways, fulfillment systems, MFA providers)Understanding of Apex at a conceptual level (not writing it, but being able to read error logs and collaborate effectively with developers)Experience with business process modeling tools or notation (BPMN)Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Advanced AdministratorSalesforce Health Cloud Accredited ProfessionalSalesforce Certified Business Analyst Core Competencies / Skills Business analysis and requirements gatheringProcess mapping and workflow optimizationStakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiencesProblem-solving and analytical thinkingCollaboration and cross-functional partnershipSelf-directed time management in a remote environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a fully remote position.
