Position Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the team behind Netwrix Privilege Secure (NPS) Discovery, a key product focused on discovering, classifying, and securing sensitive data across enterprise environments.
In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing evolution of NPS Discovery into a scalable, cloud-enabled platform, helping organizations gain visibility into their data and reduce security risk. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performance features for data scanning, processing, and reporting.
This role is ideal for an engineer who can independently deliver features, contribute to design discussions, and continue growing technical depth in cloud and security-focused systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain production-quality software features for data discovery and classificationBuild and enhance backend services and REST APIsDevelop and maintain user interfaces using React and ReduxContribute to systems that process and analyze large volumes of dataParticipate in design discussions and technical decision-making with guidance from senior engineersWrite clean, maintainable code and ensure quality through testing and code reviewsDebug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on timeContinuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
Qualifications & Experience
Required
2–5 years of professional experience developing software applications or servicesSolid understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, and system design basicsAbility to independently deliver well-scoped features
Programming & Frameworks
Proficiency in:TypeScript / Node.jsPythonReact + Redux
Experience with Golang (or willingness to learn)
Core Infrastructure & Data
Hands-on experience with MongoDB (basic schema design, queries, aggregations)Experience working with Docker / Docker ComposeExperience designing and consuming REST APIs
Cloud & DevOps
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines)Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and workflows
Security & Domain Knowledge
Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts:OAuth2, JWT, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory
Basic understanding of directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD)
General Skills
Experience working in collaborative, team-based environmentsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWillingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
