Position Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the team behind Netwrix Privilege Secure (NPS) Access Manager, a product focused on securing and managing privileged access across enterprise environments.
In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing a secure, scalable platform for access control, session management, and privileged identity workflows. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performance features that help organizations enforce least privilege and protect critical systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on security-focused systems, building full-stack features, and growing within a modern cloud-oriented architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure, production-quality software features for access management and controlBuild and enhance backend services and APIs using C# and GolangDevelop and maintain user interfaces using ReactContribute to systems handling authentication, authorization, and privileged session workflowsWork with PostgreSQL for data modeling, queries, and performance optimizationParticipate in design discussions and technical decision-making with guidance from senior engineersWrite clean, maintainable code and ensure quality through testing and code reviewsDebug and resolve issues in a timely and effective mannerCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on timeContinuously improve system security, scalability, and reliability
Qualifications & Experience
Required
2–5 years of professional experience developing software applications or servicesSolid understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, and system design basicsAbility to independently deliver well-scoped features
Programming & Frameworks
Proficiency in:C# (.NET)Golang (or willingness to learn)React
Core Infrastructure & Data
Experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, indexing, performance basics)Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
Cloud & DevOps
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesBasic understanding of DevOps practices
Security & Domain Knowledge
Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts:OAuth2, JWT, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory
Basic understanding of privileged access management (PAM) or identity systems is a plus
General Skills
Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExperience working in collaborative, team-based environmentsGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCuriosity and willingness to learn new technologies
Preferred
Experience working with access control, IAM, or PAM solutionsFamiliarity with microservices architecturesExperience with Kubernetes or cloud-native deployment patternsExperience building or supporting security-sensitive applicationsFamiliarity with directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD)Exposure to audit logging, session monitoring, or compliance-related featuresInterest in automation or AI-assisted development tools
