Position Overview Netwrix is seeking a Lead Senior Software Engineer to join the team behind a critical security product that provides real-time monitoring, auditing, and alerting for changes across IT infrastructure. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems that enable customers to effectively secure their environments. You will work on core product capabilities including contributing to a product used by security and IT teams worldwide across several industries. This is a hybrid role spending time in our Krakow office while working with a globally distributed team of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain core featuresBuild and optimize systems that monitor and audit changes across:File systemsActive Directory / identity systemsInfrastructure and configuration layers Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of data collection and processing pipelinesWork with large volumes of event and audit data efficientlyCollaborate with Product Management to design and deliver features that keep the product competitiveDiagnose and resolve complex customer escalations and production issuesLead architectural decisions and long-term technical directionWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeLeverage modern tooling (including AI-assisted development) to improve productivity and code qualit Expectations Operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in shaping technical directionBe self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a distributed environmentTake initiative in identifying problems and driving solutions end-to-endBalance speed and quality while delivering impactful featuresPartner closely with Product Management and other stakeholdersContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellenceEffectively handle and resolve customer escalationsThoughtfully leverage AI tools to augment development workflows and efficienc Qualifications Required 5 - 10 years of professional software development experienceStrong experience with object-oriented programmingExperience building backend systems or servicesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systemsExperience with C# / .NET (including .NET 8+)Experience with databases:SQL (e.g., SQL Server)NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) Familiarity with API frameworks such as:http://ASP.NET CoreServiceStack Experience with containerization and orchestration:DockerKubernetes Experience with frontend development (JavaScript, HTML)Experience with cloud platforms, especially AzureExperience with AI coding agents (Claude Code) in daily development workflow Preferred Qualifications Experience with FIM (File Integrity Monitoring)Experience with additional languages such as Go, Python, or RubyExperience with event-driven or streaming architecturesKnowledge of Windows internals, file systems, or Active DirectoryExperience working on security, compliance, or monitoring productsExperience improving or modernizing legacy system What Success Looks Like Delivering performant, reliable features used by enterprise customersQuickly diagnosing and resolving complex production issuesContributing to a clean, maintainable, and scalable architecturePositively influencing team productivity and technical directionPerks Our Values At Netwrix, our values guide every action: Next-Level Customer Focus -Customers first, always.
