If you receive messages from any other domain, please disregard them. THE ROLE We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about raising the bar in infusion therapy care. The Nurse Practitioner will contribute to the company's growth by providing direct patient care primarily at our Glen Allen, VA clinic, with travel to other SOVA sites as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy. The ideal candidate has experience working autonomously, starting IVs, and working with biologic drugs. This role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload (always a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio). This role is structured as an 80/20 split between direct patient care and administrative responsibilities: - 3 days on-site at our Glen Allen clinic for direct patient care - 2 days remote for administrative duties including chart audits, compliance, and documentation Candidates must be able to travel to any SOVA site as needed, including Roanoke, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Midlothian, Norfolk, Newport News, and Virginia Beach. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Provide in-person infusion care and support at our Glen Allen center, with travel to other SOVA centers for coverage and support. Your time will be split approximately: - 80% Clinical Responsibilities - Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines - Start and manage IV access for patients receiving infusion therapy - Communicate effectively with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.) - Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure appropriate and effective care - Order and maintain clinical inventory and supplies - 20% Quality & Compliance Responsibilities (Remote) - Onboard new Medicare patients by conducting establishment calls and completing documentation - Perform chart audits, provide clinical supervision, and ensure compliance across the region - Serve as a resource for patient education, especially for preventative health consultations HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia - Ability and willingness to travel to all SOVA sites (Roanoke, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Midlothian, Norfolk, Newport News, Virginia Beach) as needed - Must be able to start IVs — IV therapy experience required - Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care - Strong clinical judgment and comfort working autonomously - Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills - Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems - Experience with Medicare documentation and quality/compliance processes preferred THE LOCAL INFUSION WAY Local Infusion is a respectful, upbeat, and remote-first team united by our mission of shaping the way specialty infusion care is delivered.
