Role Overview The Senior Machine Maintenance Technician works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to maximize the reliability, uptime, and performance of CNC machining and production equipment. This role serves as a technical leader within the maintenance organization by troubleshooting complex machine issues, mentoring junior technicians, and driving preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives.   The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, extensive experience maintaining CNC equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.   What You’ll Do... Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsPerform advanced industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, fabrication, installation, and inspections on CNC machines and associated support equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related issues on CNC machining centers, lathes, and automated equipmentPerform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative and predictive maintenance activities on CNC equipment and facility support systemsTroubleshoot machine alarms, spindle issues, axis faults, coolant systems, tool changers, lubrication systems, and peripheral equipmentAssist in machine installations, equipment moves, machine leveling, and startup activitiesManage maintenance ticketing systems and asset tracking systems to prioritize workload and maximize equipment uptimeCoordinate with machine operators, manufacturing engineers, vendors, and management to communicate machine status and repair plansSupport root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtimeAssist in building internal technical depth and troubleshooting capability to reduce dependency on OEM field service supportMentor and support junior maintenance technicians and help establish maintenance best practicesSupport overtime, off-shift, or weekend maintenance activities as required to support production needsContribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed    You have... High school diploma or equivalent requiredFormal training in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related skilled trade program (trade school, military, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience)5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience supporting CNC equipment preferredStrong troubleshooting skills involving CNC equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assembliesExperience working with CNC machine tools such as DMG Mori, Makino, Haas, Okuma, Mazak, or similar equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, ladder logic, and technical manualsExperience with compressed air systems, coolant systems, pumps, and industrial pipingProficiency using precision measuring tools, powered hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and alignment toolsAbility to safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, pallet jacks, and other lifting equipmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailSelf-motivated and adaptable to changing prioritiesBasic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS experience preferred)Ability to work overtime, off-shift, or weekends as needed to support production demandsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance   Nice to have...
