About the Job
We’re hiring a contract position that will be responsible for overseeing and leading the commercial contracting, as well as coordinating execution of clinical trial contracts and trade agreement execution efforts for our growing cell therapy organization. This role will focus specifically on contracting between Ossium and transplant centers, driving efficient execution of agreements, accelerating time to contract, and strengthening key customer relationships.
You will be responsible for executing the contracting process by managing a high volume of active agreements with transplant centers. You will engage with transplant program administrators, hospital contracting teams, finance, and legal stakeholders to drive contract redlining, negotiation, and progression toward final agreement. The role includes managing iterative contract revisions, facilitating alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring contracts reflect agreed-upon commercial and operational terms. The Contracting Manager actively identifies and resolves bottlenecks, maintains momentum across multiple parallel agreements, and supports onboarding of new transplant centers through completion of contracting.
This is a contract role that may be performed remotely from any location in the United States.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)
3–7 years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharma contracting, specifically within transplant, cell therapy (e.g., CAR-T), or hospital-based agreements
Proven track record of independently managing contract redlining, negotiation cycles, and execution to near-final agreement
Strong understanding of hospital contracting processes and stakeholder dynamics
Experience working directly with community, private, and academic transplant centers preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Ability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualification
Experience in CAR-T, transplant, or other complex hospital-based contracting environments
Familiarity with trade agreements, MSAs, and service agreements in healthcare settings
Experience with managing clinical trial contracts
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute commercial contracting and trade agreement activities between Ossium and transplant centers
Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, and progression to near-final agreement
Serve as the primary point of contact for transplant centers on all contracting-related matters
Drive timely contract execution by proactively managing follow-ups, resolving comments, and removing bottlenecks
Build and maintain strong relationships with transplant program administrators, hospital contracting teams, finance, and legal stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Medical Affairs to align on contract terms and resolve issues
Ensure consistency with company templates while accommodating necessary center-specific modifications
Track contract status, maintain documentation, and provide visibility into pipeline and progress
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines
