About the role The Director of U.S. Operations is one of PopStroke’s most critical operational leadership roles, responsible for overseeing performance, leadership development, operational excellence, and long-term growth readiness across all venues.  This leader directly oversees PopStroke’s Operating Partners across 21+ venues and plays a pivotal role in ensuring every venue consistently drives revenue, develops future leaders, builds local community presence, and executes the PopStroke brand at the highest level.  This role is not simply about maintaining standards, it is about building the operational engine that powers national growth.    Reports To: Taylor Glode, VP of US Operations Location: Dallas / Plano, TX (In Office) What you'll do The Director of U.S. Operations is responsible for:  Developing elite Operating Partners   Building strong internal leadership benches (AOPs, OMs, KMs, AKMs)   Driving same-store sales growth   Expanding membership penetration   Increasing event sales   Ensuring operational consistency   Leading performance accountability   Making difficult people and business decisions when needed   Preparing the organization for aggressive future expansion   This leader must teach, coach, challenge, and elevate the field organization while ensuring every venue operates like a high-performing business.    What Success Looks Like  Every venue consistently grows sales year-over-year   Operating Partners actively build and sustain strong leadership pipelines   PopStroke’s “200K Club” culture becomes deeply embedded across all venues   Membership, event sales, and local marketing become critical drivers of revenue   Venue leaders think and act like business owners   Operational metrics consistently improve across labor, COGS, reviews, facilities, and profitability   Underperforming leaders are coached, developed, or replaced quickly   New venues open with stronger infrastructure and leadership readiness   PopStroke develops scalable field leadership capable of supporting national expansion     Key Responsibilities  1. National Venue Leadership  Lead and oversee Operating Partners across all U.S. venues   Drive operational consistency across golf, food & beverage, hospitality, and facilities   Ensure all venues execute PopStroke’s standards with excellence   Build scalable systems that support growth while maintaining culture   Serve as the primary field execution leader for venue operations    2. Leadership Development & Bench Strength  Develop Operating Partners into elite multi-dimensional business leaders   Ensure every venue has strong succession pipelines for:   Assistant Operating Partners   Operations Managers   Kitchen Managers   Assistant Kitchen Managers   Drive talent reviews, leadership planning, and internal promotions   Teach leaders how to recruit, coach, and retain high performers   Establish future-ready leadership infrastructure    3. Sales Culture & Revenue Growth  Champion “200K Club” standards and expectations   Teach Operating Partners to drive:   Membership sales   Event sales   Community partnerships   Local marketing impact   Walk-in traffic   Guest frequency   Ensure leaders balance hospitality with sales execution   Create venue cultures where every team member contributes to revenue growth   Drive year-over-year sales performance across all markets    4. Operational Excellence & Accountability  Oversee all core operational metrics:   Sales   Labor   COGS   Reviews   Facility standards   Membership conversion   Event performance   Conduct regular business reviews   Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions   Hold field leadership accountable for results   Lead difficult conversations and organizational changes when necessary    5. Community & Market Growth  Ensure Operating Partners are deeply engaged in local markets   Build strong venue-level community relationships   Encourage grassroots brand growth through:   Schools   Youth sports   Corporate outreach   Fundraisers   Membership activations   Ensure venues become true community hubs    6.
