We are searching for a Finance and Accounting Manager to join our fast-growing tech company in Singapore. In this role, you will drive the financial and accounting strategy, operations, reporting, and analysis of Affinidi’s results. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will partner with stakeholders across the business to drive financial reporting, planning, and compliance excellence across our global entities.
This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of finance operations, with the opportunity to build and lead a team over time as the business scales. This is a managerial role and has one direct report.

What’s in it for you:
Manage end-to-end accounting and finance functions including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis and forecasting for entities within Group
Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, partnering with external accounting vendors to ensure timely and accurate close
Lead annual audit for all entities, coordinating closely with external auditors
Lead ESOP valuation with external vendors and co-ordinate with auditors
Assist in preparation of management, board, investor, and statutory financial reporting on a timely basis
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Provide inputs for cash flow forecasting, runway analysis, and working capital management
Review employee expenses and claims, prior to disbursement and continuously improve expense controls
Review local and foreign tax returns and compliance in line with statutory requirements
Review and post inter-company transactions and support inter-company reconciliations and transfer pricing processes
Manage the banking and treasury needs of the entities
Ensures internal controls in place are adequate and in compliance with all corporate governance requirements, including liaising with investors
Learn AI tools to drive operational efficiencies
Ad-hoc tasks and duties as required
You will be a great match if you:
Chartered Accountant and/or Degree holder in Accountancy with 10+ years commercial and/or audit experience, with excellent knowledge of IFRS and SFRS. Knowledge of India and Germany accounting standards is preferred but not necessary
Experience in maintaining a full set of accounts for multiple entities, including consolidation and audit preferably in technology start-ups
Experience in drafting financial statements and projection modelling
Strong track record of automation and process simplification and improvement
Experience working with decentralised, cross-functional teams will be a plus
Detailed individual who takes pride in accuracy
Solutions-oriented with strong technical acumen
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Have a high degree of ownership, critical thinking, creative and innovative thinker
Proficiency with Netsuite is an advantage
