We’re growing fast and want you to be a part of it! We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Associate Underwriter to join our team. Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, this role supports underwriting operations through accurate and timely policy processing, endorsements, audits, compliance activities, and coordination across underwriting and program teams.   The Associate Underwriter plays a key role in ensuring underwriting quality, regulatory adherence, and efficient execution across both in-house and program business.   Key Responsibilities Process and issue policies, endorsements, cancellations, and non-renewals in an accurate and timely mannerReview policy documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with underwriting guidelinesApply appropriate forms, templates, and regulatory language across all policy transactionsMonitor workflows and support intake and routing of underwriting and servicing requestsMaintain accurate and complete documentation within internal systemsIdentify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues when necessaryAssist with audits, inspections, and information requestsSupport compliance reviews and ensure adherence to documentation standardsAssist with program servicing and policy lifecycle activitiesSupport renewal processing and tracking of key policiesMaintain underwriting tools, templates, and internal resourcesAssist with reporting and performance tracking activitiesCollaborate with underwriting, compliance, and operations teams to support business needsRequired to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Requirements and Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or a related roleBasic understanding of commercial insurance principlesStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation and processingStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving ability and sound judgment in resolving discrepanciesExperience working with AMS or policy administration systems preferredExposure to program business or regulatory/compliance processes preferredComfort working with AI-enabled tools to support workflow efficiency Perks Health, dental, and vision plansAmazing work-life balance with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off10 Paid Company Holidays with 2 floating holidays401K Programs with employer matchPersonal assistance programs for support in a healthy personal and work life Why Veracity?
