Web3-Oriented React Developer

$50k – $70k/yr Prague, CZ on-site full time mid 13d ago

About this role

We’re Trezor https://trezor.io/company, a leading company in crypto security that has pioneered the hardware wallet industry as the inventor of the world’s first hardware wallet. Founded in 2013 and still 100% self-owned, Trezor has a history of open-source contributions to the Bitcoin ecosystem that have shaped security and self-custody within the crypto sphere. Today, more than two million people in 200+ countries trust Trezor — and Trezor Suite is the software they rely on to manage their assets, including on desktop. As a React Developer, you'll join the Wallet team responsible for multi-chain support across Trezor Suite. We already cover Bitcoin, EVM, Solana, Stellar, XRP, Cardano and more. Your job will be to keep raising the bar: deeper integrations, new networks, and features that make Trezor Suite the best place to manage your digital assets. On desktop, users do their serious work — sending, staking, tracking history, managing multiple accounts across chains. Our team is small on purpose — 5 developers and 1 QA Engineer. Everyone ships, everyone reviews, everyone matters. This isn't a maintenance role. The space moves fast, and we need someone who can keep up without cutting corners. If building the future of self-custody sounds exciting, read on. 💪 WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON - Network integrations — improving existing support for EVM, Solana, and Stellar, and adding new ones like Tron, Sui, and Cosmos - Earning & DeFi — staking (Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Tron governance), stablecoin yield via Morpho, and gradually more direct access to on-chain opportunities from within Trezor Suite - Security features — things like contract monitoring and phishing detection; security at Trezor goes beyond hardware - Feature parity — we're a cross-platform team, and we care that desktop and mobile users get the same experience. You'll work across both codebases — React/Electron on desktop and React Native on mobile — so being comfortable moving between them is a big plus - Cross-team collaboration — occasional work with the Suite Trade team on shared features and integrations 💪 ABOUT YOU - You have 3+ years of production experience with React and TypeScript - You use crypto. Not just Bitcoin — you've bridged assets, tried staking on a few chains, maybe lost money on a bad swap. You know what a good wallet UX feels like because you've suffered through bad ones - You notice things. If something feels off in the app, it bothers you. You open an issue, or better — you fix it - Good English, written and spoken Nice to have: - Familiarity with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, viem, wagmi) or multi-chain architecture - You have opinions about how EVM differs from Solana — and you can back them up - Open source contributions On AI tools: We expect you to use them — they make good engineers faster. What we don't want is someone who can generate code but can't read it. If a PR review or a tricky bug requires you to think from first principles, you should be comfortable doing that ✍️ OUR STACK - React, Electron, TypeScript, Redux, Webpack, Nx, Jest, Playwright, Sentry, Git - Check out our monorepo https://github.com/trezor/trezor-suite 🤝 WHAT WE OFFER - You'll work hands-on with our flagship hardware, including devices that haven't shipped yet - Open-source codebase with 1,000+ GitHub stars — your work goes into a codebase used by millions — and your name goes with it - You can get paid in bitcoin - Friendly working environment and home office - Budget for professional development (training programs, crypto conferences, courses, and workshops of your choice) - Renovated offices (including gym, football table, billiards, PlayStation and a 3D printer) - Other benefits such as a MultiSport card, company mobile phone tariff, snacks, yoga and fitness classes, etc. - Free on-site parking 👋 Sounds good? We’d love to hear from you: just submit your CV and tell us about something you've shipped that you're proud of. We’ll get back to you as soon as we review your application, most likely within a week.
