Early Childhood Behavior Technician (Part-Time) – Parma, Ohio Company: SparkJoy ABA, a Finni Health company Job Type: Part-time (less than 30 hours per week) Location: In-person - Parma, OH Compensation: $17 – $22 per hour (based on experience and certification status) Schedule: Summer hours : M-F 2:00 PM-7:00 PM - M–F, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM starting in the fall SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. You aren’t just "monitoring"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals. - Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills. - Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving. - Support Families: Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support. Work Environment: This role operates exclusively in the client's home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned Parma territory. What You Bring: - The "Spark": You are naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable being high-energy to keep a child engaged and learning. - Experience: 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required. - Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Marion area. - Commitment to Growth: Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!). - Training: Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
