Crescent Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing all shipping and receiving functions and accurately completing all required paperwork and processes thereby delivering on our commitment to our Customer, our Company, and our People by operating the business as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P’s:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe
Ensure Safe and well-maintained work environment and conditions throughout all workspaces, facility, and surrounding areas
Report all safety, quality, near misses, accidents, mistakes, and product damages accurately and according to processes
Comply with all OSHA, ISO and company standards
People
Champion the Crescent Culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe and Doing it Well and abide by all written and understood procedures and policies
Pack, sort and stacking products throughout the shift and review completed tasks for accuracy and completion
Communicates well and respectfully with others

Productivity
Support the warehouse associates with Inbound/Outbound orders (i.e. pulling, labeling, loading, unloading & locating product for customer as time permits)
Drive effective communications between our customer and the production, quality, sales and shipping teams, ensuring open and transparent lines of communication
Quality
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances
Check all pertinent information (i.e. date codes, product codes, warehouse locations, etc.) on all paperwork
Ensure that all paperwork is written legibly

Work Environment / Physical Demands
Fast paced environment, requiring to adapt to continuous changes in priorities, volumes, and customer requests.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to do repetitive motions including typing for several hours
Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the facility
Ability to work and operate in a non-climate-controlled environment

Qualifications
Highschool diploma, G.E.D or equivalent
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to work well with others
Possess basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior logistics experience
