ABOUT THIS POSITION
Our Education Team is hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) Bilingual Community Educator, eligible for full benefits.
Joining our Education team, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Community Education to promote healthy human sexuality through comprehensive outreach and training. This role focuses on empowering individuals to make informed, responsible decisions about their sexual and reproductive health by expanding PPAU’s presence and impact statewide.
As a key member of our outreach team, you will help develop and implement essential educational initiatives, including digital content and community programs, to ensure all public engagement aligns with our high standards of accuracy, inclusivity, and excellence.

Job Duties::
Deliver reproductive health and healthy sexuality presentations, trainings, and curricula in both Spanish and English to diverse audiences, from elementary students to community groups & professionals.
Create and expand community educational programs, including recruiting participants for youth initiatives and developing digital content for social media engagement.
Support and train teachers, school staff, parents, and volunteers to deliver PPAU curricula; provide professional development and mentorship for staff and community educators.
Maintain accurate records in education databases and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure compliance with Title X, Title V, and PPFA funding requirements.
Represent PPAU in public forums and schools, advocating for comprehensive sex education and equipping parents to be the primary educators for their children.
Monitor training trends and community needs to ensure materials remain medically accurate, current, and cost-effective.
Collaborate on agency-wide marketing, fundraising, and outreach events to advance the PPAU mission.
What we're looking for:: Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, human sexuality, social work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to pass our internal verbal and written Spanish Proficiency Exam.
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to tailor complex health topics to diverse groups.
Deep knowledge of reproductive health, human sexuality, and age-appropriate education best practices.
Experience developing, coordinating, and evaluating educational programs, including data collection and grant reporting.
Ability and willingness with a flexible schedule and in-state travel.
