The role will begin remotely; however, once our Mexico City office opens in mid-2025, you will be expected to work from the office under a hybrid model. About the Role As a Technical Sales Account Manager, your day-to-day work will focus on a portfolio of assigned B2B OEM and project-based clients. You will invest time in deeply understanding your customers—their challenges, business goals, and priorities—and use your expertise to build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, turning them into long-term advocates. You will work closely with our sales enablement team on customer-facing initiatives such as training, certifications, and co-marketing partnerships. You will also collaborate with our product development team to identify customer-driven opportunities in the market, including co-developing products with key accounts by coordinating across R&D, your client, and the application engineering team. Your responsibilities will include managing orders (with support from our Customer Success team), overseeing demand planning and lead times for your accounts, and working closely with the application engineering team to provide technical support. This is a goal-oriented role that offers flexibility in how you approach your work. You will play a key role in improving customer onboarding and implementation experiences based on your expertise and insights gained on the job. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Sales Account Manager at Progressive Automations, you will: Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase share of business through new projects and cross-selling.Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value, monitor key account metrics, and proactively flag potential issues to quality and logistics teams.In collaboration with the application engineering team, guide customers in product selection, customization, and integration to ensure our solutions meet their specific needs. Oversee validation and implementation of new products within your accounts. Manage project timelines, orders, demand planning, and coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time delivery.Work closely with product development teams to align current and future customer requirements with product capabilities, contributing to the product roadmap.Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to support informed strategic decisions. Requirements Education Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or relevant experience in technical sales or account management.
