Maintenance Technician I - Houston, TX

Work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities Consistent environments → faster repairs, less guesswork Mix of hands-on repairs + preventative maintenance + facility support Independent work with support from experienced teams when needed Clear path to grow into Senior Technician or Facilities Management roles Be part of a fast-growing operation supporting a massive, evolving industry   What you’ll do Facilities Maintenance & Repairs Perform general repairs across multiple sites, including: Drywall, patching, and painting Tiling and basic masonry Shelving and equipment installation Floor repairs and upkeep Exterior maintenance (roofs, gutters, landscaping) Preventative Maintenance Conduct routine maintenance on building systems: HVAC Plumbing Electrical Identify issues early and prevent costly breakdowns Site Operations Support Travel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Houston area Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility issues Partner with internal teams to keep kitchens fully operational What Your Week Looks Like 60% hands-on repairs and maintenance 25% preventative maintenance 15% inspections, troubleshooting, and support   What we’re looking for Required 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based role Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred 3+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site environments HVAC/R experience or trade school background Work Environment & Schedule Field-based role across the Greater Houston area Local travel between sites (home daily) Monday–Friday schedule On-call rotation and overtime opportunities   Why join us We are Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.  Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.   What else you need to know Be part of a company reshaping the restaurant industry Work in cleaner, more modern environments than traditional facilities Join a team where operations, food, and technology intersect Real opportunity to grow as we scale nationally Pay: Ranging from $21.00 - $23.75/hr (based of years of experience).
