Position Summary:
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience for new PatientNow customers. This role owns the critical first phase of the customer journey, ensuring each client is successfully configured, trained, and prepared to adopt the platform with confidence.
This position combines project management, software configuration, and customer training. You will guide customers through change, help them transition from legacy workflows, and ensure they realize value quickly. Success in this role means delivering efficient, well-organized implementations while creating a strong first impression that builds long-term trust.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new customers, from kickoff through successful go-liveConfigure and customize the PatientNow platform to align with each customer’s workflows and business needsManage onboarding timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure efficient and on-time implementationsDeliver clear, engaging training sessions tailored to different user roles, learning styles, and levels of technical proficiencyGuide customers through change management, helping them adopt new processes and workflows with confidenceIdentify risks to onboarding success early and proactively drive solutionsProvide consultative recommendations to help customers optimize their use of the platformCommunicate technical concepts in a user-friendly, professional mannerMaintain accurate documentation of onboarding progress, configurations, and customer interactionsStay current on new features, product updates, and industry trends to continuously improve onboarding outcomes

Education/Experience:
2+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or training roles, preferably in SaaSStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to learn new software quickly and effectivelyAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiencesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience working with CRM, EMR, or practice management software preferredFamiliarity with Salesforce, GuideCX, or similar systems is a plusCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to manage different personalities and learning styles
