Position Overview: The Senior Manager, Product Management defines and executes product strategy for core data center infrastructure products in partnership with Product Engineering. This role owns the full product lifecycle from concept through pilot, ramp, and volume production, ensuring products meet design intent, cost, schedule, quality, and manufacturability targets while aligning with customer requirements and infrastructure strategy. This individual serves as the central point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing teams, driving the transition of engineered products and prototypes into scalable production. Key Responsibilities: Define product requirements, strategies, and roadmaps aligned to business objectives and infrastructure strategyTranslate customer needs into product definitions, success metrics, and prioritized backlogsEvaluate tradeoffs across cost, performance, schedule, risk, and manufacturabilityOwn end-to-end NPD/NPI execution from concept through production, including timelines, budgets, and risk managementLead transition from prototype to high-volume manufacturingManage OEM and contract manufacturer relationships across quality, cost, delivery, and capacityDrive supplier performance, escalations, and continuous improvement initiativesAct as central point of contact across engineering, design, construction, commissioning, procurement, finance, and operationsEnsure products integrate into data center designs, construction sequencing, commissioning, and operationsInterpret and implement regulatory, safety, and certification requirementsDevelop sourcing strategies, production planning, and supply chain alignmentDefine quality testing criteria and lead root cause analysis during NPI and deploymentTranslate technical concepts into clear strategies and present to leadership and stakeholdersDevelop SOPs, documentation, and training materials to support product deployment Key Competencies: Expertise in complex systems, industrial automation, and data center infrastructure including HVAC, cooling, and powerStrong data analysis, optimization, and performance improvement experienceFamiliarity with AI/ML applications such as predictive maintenance and anomaly detectionProven cross-functional leadership and technical decision-making abilityStrong communication and problem-solving skills Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or related field5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in data centers or mission-critical environmentsExperience developing mechanical and electrical products within complex systemsTrack record improving system performance, efficiency, or reliabilityExperience leading programs from concept through operations Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Controls, AI, or Data ScienceHyperscale or colocation data center experienceDeep knowledge of data center infrastructure systems and controlsExperience applying AI/ML in operational environmentsExperience managing vendors or third-party partners Additional Information: 25–40% travel to sites, labs, and manufacturing partnersWork across office, lab, manufacturing, and construction environmentsCompetitive compensation, bonus, and full benefits Tract Capital Employment Tract Capital employees enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, standard paid holidays, and unlimited PTO.    NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
