Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a reliable, high-performance team committed to meeting all of our customers’ and our people’s needs and ensuring the team operates as outlined in the Crescent Way 3P’s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
Read, understand and follow the Crescent Doing It Safe Playbook.
Ensure a safe work environment is maintained on an ongoing basis.
Lead the team to engage in the Safety Observation process.
Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed correctly and on time.
Ensure all equipment is operating safely.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in a safe manner.
Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Uphold a high standard for 5S, ensuring the team leaves work areas better than they found them.
Continually seek out and remove all forms of risk.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety policies, procedures, codes and/or regulations, including but not limited to:
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
Electrical Safety / Arc Flash
Work at Heights
Confined Space
Hot Work
Boiler & Pressure Vessel
Quality
Ensure all equipment is operating in a manner that produces quality products.
Communicate any suspected quality issues to the appropriate person for follow-up.
Participate in root cause analysis on quality issues and development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Provide feedback as needed on new builds to ensure “quality at the source” design.
Productivity
Continually explore the competitive use of technology and capital, providing Crescent and our customers with flexibility and improved productivity.
Ensure all line setups are performed correctly, safely and on schedule.
Ensure all PM’s are completed on schedule.
Seek out and generate continuous improvement ideas.
Communicate issues and opportunities to their manager and site leadership.

Provide technical leadership and direction to all maintenance personnel.
Participate in the selection of the most capable and competent people to bring on board and grow with Crescent.
Train – identify, create, deliver and track training for all maintenance personnel.
Ensure training for all other personnel at Crescent, including forklift operators, line leaders, machine operators and others who will interact with and/or operate equipment.
Assess to ensure the fair and accurate evaluation of each person’s performance and potential.
Recognize to ensure each person feels appreciated for the value they provide.
Lead the team to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
Participate in regular production and plant meetings.
Customer Value
Ensure the completion of all required PM’s on both Crescent-owned and Customer-owned equipment.
Provide real-time support for customer trials, samples and visits.
Financial
Specify, select and source cost-effective equipment, spare parts and services.
Meet or exceed monthly budget targets.
All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to identifying and training an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Essential Duties and Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence.

Education & Experience:
Industrial Maintenance Technician III or equivalent experience.
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent certification and/or experience.
Team leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in the application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experienced in packaging systems maintenance.

Pay Range$90,000—$100,000 USD Offices: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States (West Chester, OH (C1 Operation));
