We set bold objectives and see them through.  country: CA all locations: [New Westminster, BC] commitment: Full-time department: Manufacturing & Distribution Centre location: New Westminster, BC team: ARC'One Distribution Centre If you were in the Distribution Center General Associate role now, here are some of the core activities you would be responsible for:: Receiving finished goods according to vendor purchase order and accurately record information electronically Visually checking product to ensure that it is in proper working condition and is not damaged and places incoming items in inventory Replenishing stock, organizing picking bin locations and racking levels by set requirements Picking products accurately from picking bins by following orders from processor Packing and weighing orders; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment Helping prepare shipping and other related documents Ensuring proper daily storage and maintenance of equipment Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the stock security, cleanliness and organization of the warehouse Assisting in maintaining 5S practices Performing other duties as assigned Are you our next Distribution Center General Associate?: You have strong English verbal and written communication skills You have working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Excel and ERP systems You have high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and flexibility You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team You are able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situation with tact and professionalism You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment You have CSA approved steel toe footwear Assets: : You have experience working in warehouse setting and operating hand held scanners You have knowledge of FIFO inventory systems You can operate order pickers and power pallet jacks You have a valid forklift license You have knowledge of Arc’teryx’s unique products Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
