Following recent strategic acquisitions, the top-tier bank has significantly expanded its international footprint. Now executing an "AI-first" strategy, the organization has launched a dedicated institute for applied AI and quantum computing to drive productivity and deliver hyper-personalized digital experiences for millions of global customers.
What You’ll Do
Support upcoming ICI (IMPACT) platform upgrade initiatives and future release cycles within the internal ecosystem
Conduct impact analysis on existing workflows, screens, file feeds, and operational processes affected by platform upgrades
Review prior upgrade cycles to document lessons learned, testing approaches, timelines, and operational impacts
Work closely with Operations and Technology teams to document current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
Translate manual functional testing activities into repeatable testing workflows and automation opportunities where applicable
Coordinate SIT/UAT testing activities, including test case creation, execution tracking, defect coordination, and validation
Validate existing file structures and compare outputs against current production processes and historical data
Collaborate with stakeholders supporting ClearancePro and related downstream operational applications
Assist in documenting business requirements, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and testing procedures
Participate in scoping sessions and release planning discussions with internal teams and vendors
Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, dependencies, and operational impacts to project stakeholders
What You Bring
5+ years of Business Analysis and/or QA experience within Capital Markets Technology
Strong functional understanding of Futures/Derivatives trade lifecycle and Operations workflows
Experience supporting post-trade processing, clearing, settlement, and operational controls
Prior experience supporting ICI (IMPACT)
Prior experience supporting ClearancePro or similar Futures processing platforms
Experience performing impact assessments and coordinating testing activities for system upgrades or migrations
Strong experience writing functional documentation, test plans, test cases, and workflow/process documentation
Ability to work closely with Operations users and translate functional processes into structured testing scenarios
Familiarity with SIT/UAT coordination, defect management, and regression testing methodologies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with JIRA, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and SQL
Nice to have
Experience with test automation initiatives or process automation within Capital Markets environments
Exposure to vendor-driven platform upgrades and release management processes
Previous experience supporting annual application upgrade cycles within Futures or Listed Derivatives environments
English level

Compensation Transparency: The expected compensation range for this role is $80-120/hr CAD, with eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location within Canada, and business needs.
