Join our global team of Smartlies and learn from some of the best and brightest in the digital advertising industry. Based in our NYC office, this 10-week internship program is designed to provide structured learning, hands-on experience, and meaningful exposure to Customer Success at a fast-growing technology company.
As a Customer Success Intern, you’ll gain foundational knowledge across the digital advertising ecosystem, Smartly’s platform, enterprise customer strategy, and commercial account management while working alongside cross-functional teams that support some of the world’s top advertisers.
As a Customer Success Intern you will...
Shadow Customer Success Managers and participate in customer-facing meetings including onboarding calls, status meetings, QBRs, and renewal discussions
Learn how Customer Success partners cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Partnerships, Support, and Marketing teams to drive customer outcomes
Build foundational knowledge of Smartly’s platform ecosystem and how customers use our products to achieve business goals
Complete product and digital ecosystem trainings across major advertising platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, and more
Support Customer Success workflows through meeting preparation, customer note taking, lifecycle tracking, reporting support, and performance analysis
Develop an understanding of customer lifecycle management, retention strategy, and growth opportunities
Contribute to a final project tied to a real business need or customer success initiative
Collaborate with fellow teams across Smartly’s NYC office

What we are looking for…
Are a full-time rising junior or senior enrolled at an accredited 4-year college or university, or are a recent graduate
Are pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field
Are interested in digital advertising, marketing technology, SaaS, or customer-facing roles
Have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Enjoy working collaboratively and learning in a fast-paced environment
Have curiosity about social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Google
Are legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Bonus Points If You ...
Have previous internship, leadership, or project experience in paid media.
Are passionate about digital marketing trends and emerging advertising platforms
This internship is paid at $20 per hour and will be approximately 30 hours per week between June 2nd and August 7th of 2026.
