What You Will Be Doing:
Our team is seeking a Senior Associate with client experience and healthcare communications expertise to serve as a counselor to our clients for one of our long-standing biopharmaceutical accounts. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for supporting strategic integrated communications activities and advising healthcare clients. You will be a conceptual thinker with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, and an eagerness to learn and collaborate. You are proactive when coordinating projects and managing timelines and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, you should have an agency background in healthcare communications with experience working on pharmaceutical products and/or disease education programs, as well as knowledge of the media landscape and considerations in this space. The ideal candidate will have broad interest in the full remit of healthcare communications, including digital, earned media, data and regulatory milestones, and branded/unbranded disease awareness programming. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a specific interest and experience in social and digital content development.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support paid media execution for an unbranded campaign, including copy development, managing approvals, coordinating with design teams, publishing content, and tracking performance reporting
Develop and manage submissions to client medical, legal and regulatory reviewers via Veeva Vault approval system
Serve as a day-to-day client contact, helping to deliver client-ready content with the oversight of digital specialists and CX counterparts
Coordinate among interdisciplinary team of sci-comms, creative, digital, media and strategy, and ensure all activities you are leading are moving forward so deadlines are met
Draft client meeting agendas and recaps, maintain internal trackers and project documentation, and support coordination of timelines, materials, and reporting deliverables
Manage client status reports, including agendas, recaps, materials trackers, media trackers, and website analytics trackers
Set and meet campaign measurement and evaluation criteria
Identify training and development needs of junior staff and provide opportunities that enable staff members to reach their full potential
Assist in financial management for clients, including development of invoices and activity reports
Support branded sponsored content work by evaluating potential partners, help develop client presentations, and coordinating execution of partnership with media partner
What We Are Looking For:
Fluency and/or familiarity with digital and social media
Familiarity with data and regulatory milestone communications
Strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
Budgeting and financial management skills
Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism
Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals
Proactive mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables
Basic Qualifications
At least 2-3 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
The ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
Be a self-starter who works well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field

Salary range: $68,000 USD - $78,000 USD
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
