Senior Manager, Regional Finance

With a global workforce of 1,500+ and scaling at an extraordinary pace, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Regional Finance to manage and support our market operations across the globe.     country: HK all locations: [Hong Kong SAR] commitment: Full-time department: Finance location: Hong Kong SAR team: Finance The Role:   Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial health and operational excellence of approximately 10 markets (1-2 regions). You will act as the bridge between local finance teams and our Hong Kong functional office, ensuring that regional operations align with Lalamove’s global growth objectives. This is a high-impact role requiring a balance of technical mastery, process improvement, and cross-border leadership. What You’ll Do: Regional Financial Oversight: Direct the financial roadmap for your assigned regions, ensuring scalability and consistency in financial reporting. Operational Excellence: Oversee regional financial operations and optimize payment ecosystems for users and drivers across diverse regulatory landscapes. Process Transformation: Drive the implementation of advanced financial systems and automated reconciliation processes to reduce manual workloads. Governance & Compliance: Maintain oversight of statutory compliance and multi-jurisdictional audits within your regions to mitigate risk. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary financial liaison for regional leadership, translating complex data into strategic narratives for the FC and CFO. Advisory & Optimization: Identify levers for cost optimization and margin improvement through proactive tax and operational strategies. What You'll Need: Experience: Minimum 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting, with a proven track record in regional finance operations. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory. Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of IFRS, multi-currency consolidations, and international tax regulations. Systems Savvy: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and experience with automated payment gateway reconciliations. Industry Background: Experience in Platform (O2O), Logistics, or Hyper-growth Tech is highly preferred. Leadership: Strong ability to manage cross-border projects and work effectively across different cultures and departments. Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; proficiency in regional languages relevant to our markets is a distinct advantage.
