This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in electrical systems, controls, and product testing who enjoys troubleshooting and working in a fast-paced technical environment. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support testing operations across a variety of electromechanical systems and products. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, technically capable, and comfortable working independently while supporting a collaborative engineering and production environment. country: all locations: [Henrico, VA] commitment: Direct Hire department: location: Henrico, VA team: Qualdoc Staffing What You’ll Do: Perform electrical and functional testing on systems, assemblies, and components Set up and connect power, control, and communication wiring for test operations Use diagnostic tools to capture, interpret, and document test data Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and electronic components Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents Maintain and calibrate testing tools and equipment to ensure reliability Support production schedules by prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines Assist with RF shielding evaluation, testing, and repair work Work with three-phase power, motors, generators, relays, and control systems Support PLC troubleshooting and basic programming activities Diagnose and resolve issues involving VFDs and automated systems What You Bring: At least 2 years of experience in electrical, electronic, or industrial control systems Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and analyzers Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and documentation abilities Self-driven and able to work independently Requirements: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance U.S. Citizenship required Nice to Have: Experience with PLC systems and relay-based controls Background in motor controls and generator systems RF testing or shielding repair experience Familiarity with AutoCAD Mechatronics training or technical certification Licensed electrician experience
