country: VN all locations: [Hanoi] commitment: Full-time department: Manufacturing Departament location: Hanoi team: Manufacturing Team Key Responsibilities:: Quality Governance: Establish and maintain the department’s quality standards, ensuring they align with global best practices and organizational goals. Strategic Contracting: Act as a key technical expert during contract negotiations, defining robust Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA), warranty terms, and enforceable penalty frameworks for non-compliance. Supplier Audits & Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end supplier qualification process (AVL), conducting rigorous on-site and remote technical audits to evaluate manufacturing capabilities and risk profiles. Performance & Compliance: Drive supplier excellence through systematic Scorecard evaluations and the SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report) process, ensuring root-cause elimination via 8D or similar methodologies. Supply Chain Resilience: Collaborate with partners to optimize packaging, warehousing, and logistics, specifically aiming to eliminate transit-related defects and reduce logistics waste. Strategic Leadership: Design and execute the development strategy for the IQC (Incoming Quality Control) and SQ divisions, fostering a high-performance culture through continuous training and mentorship. Engineering Oversight: Lead the engineering team in proactive defect prevention, ensuring that technical requirements are met before mass production begins. Key Requirements:: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Professional Experience: 3+ years in Supplier Quality Management, ideally within high-tech electronics, systems assembly, or automotive industries. Technical Proficiency: Expert ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Standards & Frameworks: Deep understanding of ISO 9001 (mandatory) Quality Toolkit: Mastery of core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and FMEA. Communication & Languages: Intermediate+ English (fluent professional correspondence and negotiation). Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant "nice-to-have" for direct communication with Asian manufacturers. Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, "system-first" approach to problem-solving, and the ability to influence partners in a high-pressure environment.
