Compensation:
Project Manager I: Starting at $95,000+ (based on experience)
Project Manager II: Starting at $110,000+ (based on experience)
A growing construction and project management firm is actively hiring both Project Manager I and Project Manager II professionals to support commercial, institutional, and government construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
These positions are ideal for construction professionals with experience managing estimating, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, compliance, and project execution from preconstruction through final closeout.
Projects may include renovations, infrastructure improvements, IDIQ contracts, design/build work, lump-sum projects, and fast-track construction assignments.

Position Levels:
Project Manager I
Ideal for candidates with experience managing smaller-scale commercial or institutional construction projects, typically with lower project complexity and contract values.
Typical Qualifications:
4–7 years of construction project management experience with a degreeOR
10+ years of directly related construction experience without a degree
Experience supporting subcontracted and self-performed work
Government contracting exposure is a plus
Project Manager II
Ideal for experienced professionals managing larger, more complex commercial, institutional, or government construction projects.
Typical Qualifications:
7–10 years of construction project management experience with a degreeOR
15+ years of directly related experience without a degree
Experience with design/build delivery methods, value engineering, and advanced project controls
Strong background in government and negotiated contract environments preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects from estimating and planning through closeout
Coordinate project buyout, subcontract administration, procurement, and budgeting
Prepare and negotiate estimates, pricing adjustments, and change orders
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Track schedule impacts and identify critical path issues
Conduct jobsite visits to monitor safety, workmanship, quality, and progress
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
Manage permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements
Lead project meetings and maintain project documentation and reporting
Oversee monthly billings, vendor payments, and financial tracking
Evaluate constructability concerns and identify value-engineering opportunities
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards
Support implementation of safety, quality control, and environmental programs
Mentor and support junior project staff when applicable
Participate in networking opportunities and ongoing professional development
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Equivalent construction management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project execution
Experience with scheduling, subcontract management, estimating, and cost controls
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to navigate active construction sites, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Preferred Experience & Certifications:
Experience with government construction contracts preferred
Familiarity with IDIQ, JOC, design/build, and fast-track projects
Line-item estimating experience preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
Current USACE/NAVFAC CQC certification is a plus
Professional certifications such as AC, CPC, or PE are highly valued
