Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot test, build failures to determine the root cause
Communicate with stakeholders and QA Lead regarding user requirements
Report bugs, validate their root cause
Create automated tests
Follow priorities given by Lead QA to ensure current team-wide goals are met
Perform gameplay QA responsibilities depending on the requirements and phase of development
The first line of support for the production team with regard to any technical issues
Requirements:
Prior experience in QA/software development (1-2 years)
Uses good judgment to estimate the scope, significance and consequences of any bugs
Can work well as part of a local and international team
Is rigorous, methodical, independent and resourceful
Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Is personable, adaptable and patient
Resilient and able to think on your feet under pressure
Being able to adapt to working in a game production pipeline and using a variety of tools
Nice to have: Experience with scripting (Lua / Python)
Experience with building/compiling with Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with version control/configuration management (Perforce)
Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with modding
Experience in test automation in a different engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.)
A passion for transforming written instructions/user requirements into automation test scripts
Familiarity with the RPG genre and you have played many RPGs extensively and critically
