What you will get to do:: Identify, evaluate, and develop a reliable supplier base that consistently meets the company's quality, cost, and delivery standards
Maintain and update vendor scorecards on a regular cadence
Build contingency sourcing plans to reduce single-source risk
Conduct RFQ/RFP processes for new materials and periodic re-bids on key spend categories
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with existing and new suppliers
Drive annual cost savings targets through competitive bidding and strategic negotiation
Review and manage purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms
Monitor spend data and present cost analysis to leadership on a regular basis
Process and manage purchase orders with accuracy and timely follow-through
Coordinate with operations to align procurement with production schedules and inventory targets
Ensure purchasing activity complies with the company's policies and approval workflows
Maintain clean, organized records in NetSuite (ERP) for spend visibility and audit readiness
Partner closely with engineering, operations, and finance to support production and budget goals
What will make you successful::
15+ years in a manufacturing environment with 5+ years in a strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
Proven track record negotiating supplier agreements and managing vendor performance
Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, AI work integration; NetSuite experience a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend data and surface actionable insights
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Collaborative communicator who can work effectively across departments
