About this role
Founded by former Workday clients, we value partnership and engagement as a cornerstone of our business. With years of functional and technical experience in all phases of Workday's deployment life cycle, we can determine the most efficient integration designs and rapid deployment strategies. We develop maintainable solutions and provide support for integration testing and updates for new Workday releases.
We are seeking a Director, Workday AI Transformation Practice Leader to define and scale our AI strategy across our Workday practice. This role is responsible for shaping how AI is leveraged across our business—including go-to-market strategy, delivery enablement, internal productivity, and client advisory services. This is not a role focused on configuring AI within Workday. Instead, this leader will drive how we integrate AI into our ways of working, leverage the broader ecosystem, and position AI as a core differentiator in how we sell and deliver Workday services. The ideal candidate will combine Workday expertise, consulting leadership, and practical AI application to deliver measurable impact across both client outcomes and internal efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
Practice Strategy & Leadership
Define and lead the AI Transformation strategy for the Workday practice
Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI across sales, delivery, and internal operations
Establish a roadmap for AI-enabled capabilities and offerings
Sales & Go-To-Market Enablement
Partner with sales and leadership to position AI in client conversations, proposals, and demos
Develop AI-driven offerings and accelerators that enhance our Workday services
Support pursuits by translating AI capabilities into clear business value for clients
Advise clients on how to leverage AI within the Workday ecosystem and partner landscape, including tools such as:
Workday Sana
Paradox
HiredScore
Evisort
AI Capability & Delivery Enablement
Build and scale AI-enabled delivery capabilities, including:
Automation of repetitive consulting tasks
AI-assisted documentation, testing, and analysis
Intelligent insights and reporting enhancements
Evaluate and implement tools that enhance delivery efficiency, including:
Flowise
Pipedream
Partner with functional and technical leaders to embed AI into real delivery workflows, not just isolated use cases
Internal AI Adoption & Efficiency
Drive adoption of AI tools across the organization to improve:
Consultant productivity
Delivery speed and quality
Knowledge sharing and reuse
Develop and lead AI enablement programs, including:
Training and upskilling initiatives
Best practices and governance
Responsible AI usage guidelines
Identify opportunities to streamline internal processes using AI (e.g., staffing, forecasting, documentation, reporting)
Ecosystem & Innovation
Stay current on emerging trends across the Workday AI ecosystem, including:
Workday’s Agent System of Record (agent-based orchestration and management)
AI-enabled partner solutions and integrations
Translate new capabilities into practical applications and scalable offerings
What Makes You Successful
You focus on practical application of AI, not theory
You can connect AI capabilities to real Workday use cases and business outcomes
You know how to drive adoption across teams, not just introduce tools
You balance innovation with execution, ensuring ideas scale across the practice
Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in Workday consulting, transformation, or professional services leadership
Proven experience building or leading practice-level initiatives, programs, or offerings
Strong understanding of the Workday ecosystem, including HCM, Payroll, Time & Absence, Finance, and partner landscape
Experience applying AI tools and technologies to improve business processes, delivery, or operations
Demonstrated ability to:
Identify high-value AI use cases
Build scalable solutions and frameworks
Drive adoption across a consulting organization
Strong client-facing and executive communication skills
Experience supporting sales pursuits and solution development
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities
Preferred
Experience working with AI-enabled platforms in HR, recruiting, or enterprise operations
Familiarity with Workday’s evolving AI capabilities and partner ecosystem
Experience with LLMs, automation platforms, or workflow orchestration tools
Background in process optimization, delivery transformation, or operational excellence
