Location: UK-based, Hybrid (London)  Department: Online Investigations (Europe)  Reports To: Manager, Online Investigations (Europe) Competitive salary: dependent on experience Overview of the Role: To undertake a range of investigatory work as part of a small but important team, working alongside Manager, Online Investigations (Europe) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Due diligence activities including pre-employment screening investigations, education and employment verification and exec due diligenceUndertaking a variety of investigations on behalf of clients, including asset tracing, fraud investigations and source intelligence investigationsCoordinating covert approaches, site visits and researchProducing written reports for clients, ensuring they are produced to a high standardA range of activities relating to intellectual property investigations, including in relation to trademarks, domain and company name investigations, copyright and patent infringements, test purchases and brand/market surveysMentor, train, and support more junior colleaguesLeading complex investigations from scoping through to delivery, ensuring appropriate methodologies and compliance with legal and ethical standardsActing as a primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships, providing strategic advice, and presenting findings in a clear and commercially relevant mannerOverseeing case strategy and quality assurance of investigative outputs, ensuring consistency, accuracy and adherence to best practice across the teamSupporting business development activities, including contributing to proposals, pitches and identifying new investigative opportunitiesAssociated administrative duties as requiredAttending relevant industry conferences, exhibitions and seminars What You’ll Bring: Previous experience in research, including undertaken as part of a degreeExcellent time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities is essentialLine management and mentoring teams, desirableStrong communication skills including the ability to produce high quality client reports is essentialThe ability to understand, analyse and communicate findings and data is essentialExperience using OSINT is essentialAdaptable, resilient and able to work at pace Why IP House: IP House is redefining how the world combats illicit trade and intellectual property theft—delivering scalable, end-to-end solutions that empower global brands and rights holders through innovation, strategic expertise, and a relentless commitment to global enforcement.   Achieving this ambitious mission requires the collaboration of an exceptionally talented team.  We believe our people are the foundation of everything we do—and we invest accordingly.
